Moisture, body secretions and cerumen can severely impair the function of cochlear implants and cause failures. The DRY-SPACE UV offers optimal care for two cochlear devices. Gentle drying at 45°C significantly prolongs the service life and prevents repairs. Processor-controlled drying takes the ambient temperature into account and sensors monitor the optimum drying temperature. The drying process is indicated by the LED’s continuous light. After 5 hours, the device automatically switches to standby mode. The perfect drying process is a value preserving for your cochlear implants.

MATERIAL-FRIENDLY UV-C LIGHT FOR YOUR HEALTH

In addition to drying material friendly UV-C light ensures hygienic cleanliness. Germs, bacteria and fungi are efficiently reduced by 99.9%, minimizing health risks. To the UV-C cleaning within the first minute, a further disinfection is added before the end of the 5 hours drying. This hygiene runs automatically in parallel to the drying and is indicated by flashing LEDs. This means that the cochlear implants are hygienically cleansed after 5 hours of drying. This prevents ear infections and protects your health.

EASY HANDLING BY A SINGLE BUTTON

The DRY-SPACE UV is switched on by simply pressing a button. This tactile one-button automatic is easy to use and user-friendly. All switching processes are software-controlled. The button pressed for longer than 3 sec. switches off the unit.
Flashing LEDs indicate the UV-C light and illuminated LEDs indicate drying.
